This section of our site will be an activist’s warehouse — featuring tools of the trade that are both old-school and tech-savvy. It is here that visitors, now activists, will interact with the site in real time; The Animals Voice literally — and virtually — will help them do their jobs.
Being independent brings the world’s campaigns for animals into a one-stop place
PETA promotes PETA’s campaigns and PETA’s products and PETA’s philosophies. WSPA does likewise for WSPA, HSUS for HSUS, and so on. But The Animals Voice is independent of any organization. It reports on PETA’s campaigns, and WSPA’s campaigns, and HSUS’ campaigns, and everybody else’s campaigns. As well, The Animals Voice will work to network these individuals with these organizations, and with other groups and activists, as well — strength in numbers and all that.
That means that The Animals Voice isn’t beholden to any one group or any one person or any specific ideology. It’s an open book and an even more open workbook. If it benefits animals, The Animals Voice will promote it. The Animals Voice is inclusive, not exclusive, of all things animal welfare, animal rights, and animal liberation.
When you support The Animals Voice, you’re actually supporting the work of every organization on the planet that works for the betterment in the living and dying conditions for animals. Your Animals Voice support, in other words, goes a lot further than you may realize. From animal rights conferences to vegetarian and vegan festivals, The Animals Voice Global Calendar of events will keep the world apprised of the activities and goals of grassroots as well as national and international organizations. Events also include travel fundraisers, online educational courses, and more.
Action Alerts
Unfortunately, there is no end to the extremely timely Action Alert. The Animals Voice will electronically and automatically distribute these highly time-sensitive alerts to individual activists, targeted legislators, and most of the world’s organizations, all in the click of a mouse.
Campaigns
Imagine one place where activists go to browse through the world’s leading and lesser-known campaigns for animals — and are instantly in touch with that campaign via the magic of the interactive Internet.
Boycotts
Boycotts are still an effective game-changing tool. This section of TAKE ACTION will feature the history of boycotts, how and why they are effective, as well as present every single current-day boycott affecting nature and animals, such as the one against Procter & Gamble for its continuing use of animals in testing.
Petitions
Online petitions are easy to start, monitor, solicit for, and deliver. Not only can a visitor or activist sign an online petition, but they’ll be able to start one here, too.
Legislation
Global, national, regional, and local legislation are in constant flux. But legislation and its processes are also confusing. The TAKE ACTION section will make it easy to keep up with pending legislation and also offer advice and direction about enforcing legislation that has passed into law.
